Red face Britax it is! But, which one?

Thank you to all, for your advice! Britax is clearly the winner...but which one? There is the roundabout, marathon, decathlon, boulevard....and the madness continues!!! Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!! (Thank you for narrowing it to only four, my headache has subsided!)

Hi- I think you chose well! Amazing how complicated these things can get, isn't it?

I purchased the Roundabout first, it goes up to 40 lbs. I have really liked it, but now that my son is about to outgrow it weight wise, I wish I had purchased the Marathon- it has all the same features and can be used up to 65 lbs.
I just happened to have purchased a Marathon this evening online! I got it for much less than I thought I could- you can probably find it with a search. If not, I can pm you the site if you would like.

Best Wishes!

We have registered for the Marathon. It came highly recommended by friends, and I like the fact that it covers a broad weight range.

Congrats on making a decision!! All the different options for baby gear can be very overwhelming!

We used the Roundabout until my son hit 40 pounds (he was around 4 yo I think). At that point we were torn between buying the Marathon (5pt for up to 65 lbs), or moving him up to a Booster Seat. He had the maturity and desire for the Booster, but I was concerned about the safety factor not being in the 5 point. We made our decision when we saw how much bigger the Marathon was then the Roundabout. Also 65 lbs could be a 6-8+ yo, and would that type of seat be wanted over a booster when they hit that age? Something to think about.
We did chose the Parkway Booster, and have been very pleased. He loves the head/neck wing things, and calls him his "pillows". I don't think you can go wrong with any of the seats. All depends on how long you want to keep them in a 5 point, and if the bigger seat would be problematic.

If you go to the Britax website there is something called "Fit-Finder" to help you chose the correct seat best suited for your car. Just trying that feature out now for the first time, so don't know how well it works. Maybe that would help in the decision making?

Take Care,

We purchased the Marathon and absolutely love it. The straps are easily adjustable and don't get tangled and uncomfortable for our nearly 2-yr. old daughter.

We chose the Marathon simply for the reason that:

1. Its safety rating according to the Child Safety reviews for where we live (Canada).
2. That it will hold a child up to 65 lbs
3. How quick and easy it is to put a child in/out of the carseat.

Happy decision-making!

That's the one that I was immediately drawn to too...imagine my surprise when I realized it had the same name as my daughter! I am registered for it....hopefully I will either get it at my shower or get some gift cards to help defray the cost.

I hope my Olivia likes it!

I originally bought a roundabout- but then my 2 year old is 33 pounds and very broad and was looking the slightest bot squished- so I bought the marathon for him and I bought my 4.5 year old the booster by Britax. IU am saving the roundabout for our daughter and plan on getting a new cover- hopefully one of the cute girly ones! Maybe it is the Olivia that you are all talking about!

So my recommendation- the Marathon. It will fit a little one and grow with them!

I think I've decide on the Regent, because it ranges up to 80lbs, but haven't fully decided. I love the features on all Britax models! I know for sure that this is the brand for me, regardless of the model! If any real time users have specific, please let all of us in research mode know the pros and cons!

Thanks!
