Are there agencies that specialize in china better than others?

There are several agencies that do only China adoptions- so that is pretty specialized.

There are lots of agencies that do China and other countries, too. Deciding which works best is really a matter of personal needs in your adoption journey and which is a best fit for you.

I reckin what I'm asking is.. is there one better than other? Is there one better at special needs adoption than another? Is there one better at having younger children than another? Things like that.

When adopting from China, the agency has nothing to do with the age of the child referred. The international adoption process in China is centralized through the Chinese government. The CCAA in China matches each child with each family/dossier.

If you are considering a couple of different agencies, you could ask for feedback on those specific agencies.

Our agency handles several different countries through their Texas office. However, the NYC office is the China program headquarters. We are so happy with our agency and will be starting a second adoption in the fall. Please send me a PM if you would like more information.

Our agency is excellant and works with us very well. They specialize in Chinese adoption and the owner is native Chinese (so, no translater that you have to depend on). If you email them with a question, unless they are having server issues, they respond usually within 24 hours and if they think there's a chance you may not be eligible to adopt (your age, health issue, family size, etc...), they will call the CCAA to make sure before you pay your money.
