I will not be 30 until December 30 2007. I would love to keep in contact with those of you who are waiting for yourself or DH to turn 30. I think we all could really use the support during our wait for the BIG 30 to arrive!!

Well, we are thinking of going to China to adopt, but since DH is only 25 and I'm only 27, we have a while to wait. So in the meantime, we are doing a domestic adoption, and hopefully will get to go to China later when we are ready for our second child.

We are waiting to turn 30 as well. DH is 27 but I won't turn 30 until Aug. 2010! 4 more years. We are planning on starting another adoption next year from Guatemala, or Vietnam, if Guatemala adoptions are halted. Then hopefully our next will be from China. It's nice to know we are not the only ones with such a long wait.

I am almost 28, DH is already over 30. We decided to adopt from China a year ago and planned on that little girl being our first child. We were then blessed with a miracle pregnancy and are now proud parents of an almost four week old baby girl.

We still plan to adopt from China, although now I'm not sure that it will be as soon as I turn 30. We don't want our children to be too close together in age, so we may end up waiting longer to adopt.

DH and I are currently adopting from Korea, but we also love china, and are planning on adopting from china sometime in the future. Right now, i am only 26 and DH 28. We think we will adopt from Korea at least one more time before we go to China though.

Thank you! When I announced my pregnancy, one of my friends who knew about our plans to adopt emailed and said "just so you know, there will be a point in labor when a plane ride from China with a screaming infant will sound REALLY good!" And she was right!

My DH and I were waiting to turn 30 to adopt from China. In spring 2005 we had a change of heart, still wanting to adopt from China but at age 25, wanting to start our family sooner. As many of you said, waiting for 5-6 years is a LONG time. But, definitely worth the wait, I am sure!

We now have a wonderful 15 month old son from South Korea, and hope to adopt once more from Korea before starting the China process in January 2010. I turn 30 in July of 2010. We are still just as excited about adopting from China, our daughter will just have an older brother or two to come home to!

Well, I will turn 30 in November 2007. I, too, need lots of support. We decided to adopt in January. Time is going by fast, thank goodness!

I won't be 30 until Feb of 2013. Upside to that is I have plenty of time to save I guess. it will be fun to see how everyone else's adoptions go between now and then.

Good luck to everyone with the wait! It felt like it took forever to me, but now we're waiting to travel to get our daughter! I applied to our agency exactly on my 30th birthday and our dossier went to China 4 months later on my husband's 30th birthday.

My DH is already 30, but I am 28, so we have a little bit to wait. We already have one daughter who is 2 going on 10 and can't wait to add to our family. We are struggling with having another one before we adopt, but we are not sure we will make enough to meet the income requirement. We are just praying about what we should do at this point. 2 years seem so far away!
