We were LID as of May 16th! We got word that it was the 17th and then a month later it turned out to be the 16th! I can take one day earlier!

Thanks for making the list! We were LID on 5/16/06. How is everyone else dealing with the wait? I keep fluctuating between being very excited and feeling like I'm just not going to survive! Some days it is very hard waiting for my baby, but I know it will all be worth it in the end.

I haven't bit my fingers since high school, and they look terrible NOW, whats worse is I've started on my toes!!(I'm not quite that limber) I'm a wreck. I try to stay busy with fund raisers, but that makes me more stressed about finances. I did get her bed ready yesterday, and that helped me to know it was going to happen pretty soon. I'm trying to nest, but don't want to do it to soon. Most of all I'm excited, nervious, ready yesterday, and not sure if I'm ready at all for two babies (my bio 13 month and our little one from china 9 months). Not sure how to nurse one and feed the other at the sametime. The next minute I just want to get her home, everything else will work itself out.
SO HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE?

Well Dana..some days are better than others One minute I feel like time is flying by and the next minute, I feel like we'll never be in China.

I've started buying things here and there like orphanage staff gifts, medicines, stuff for travel, etc. My dtc yahoo group has been doing a cyber shower...talk about a blast...I just received the cutest little swim suit, cover-up, glasses, and hats from my cyber buddy (the theme was fun in the sun).

I think time will start flying by for us...at least I hope. We have a big camping trip coming up in August and then school begins at the end of August. We are a homeschooling family so we will be busy

Still praying your pa and ta comes soon Dana...I keep checking for any updates for you Is your agency giving you a timeline? Hang in there!!

Dana - Wow, you must have your hands full with all your kids! For me, it depends on the day. But on the bad days, I am just so scared I will never become a mommy, what I want most in the world. But when I really think about it, I do believe it will happen. I am just not a patient person - I am used to going out there and working really hard to get what I want. So not in my nature to just sit around and wait. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Trying to keep busy getting the nursery/house ready.
