Question Anyone get married in Vegas?
I just turned in all of my paperwork to our homestudy agency and the social worker said the marriage certificate wouldn't work for our court. Now I'm wondering if I need to get something else for our dossier too. She said I need the marriage license, so do I need the marriage license or the marriage certificate for the dossier?

We got married in Vegas and used our marriage certificate for both our HS and our dossier. We're still in critical review but I'll let you know when we've passed (should be any day now).

We were married in Vegas too. Our marriage cerificate was fine. It took awhile to get back from certification though.I was worried about it. It just looks kind of cheap and unofficial. I guess they do soooo many, no reason to make them fancy! Ours was fine thru critical review and is now in China!

We were married in Vegas also (hey I thought what happened in Vegas stayed in Vegas?)
We had not problems with our Certified Marriage Certificate. We went back to vegas to get it.

Great thanks! I guess I still have to request the actual license for my homestudy agency, but can use the cert. for my dossier. They sure don't make it easy on you do they?

No they don't, but I actually find that I miss the paperchase now that I am done. I really felt like I was doing something and in controll.
