Hello all!!

I have been a long time lurking, while doing the information gathering phase, decided it was time to join, since I am hoping to start the paper chase at the end of this year. Still trying to gather info on home study agencies in my area (Phoenix, AZ).

Hi all,

I am also from the Phoenix area and I've been lurking around for awhile. My dh and I just got our approval from our agency (CCAI) this weekend. So much paperwork to collect! I'm glad that I found this forum...lots of good info here

Yes, I really enjoy reading also. I generally only make it here on the weekends, but I get time to read books during the week.
I am actually in El Mirage, but I work in Glendale. Are you actually in Phoenix?

No I am in Mesa, but work in Scottsdale. Luckily my job isn't so hectic right now, so I am able to get on line during the week. I am also getting my bachelors in business, so I am doing that to keep me busy too, because otherwise I would be shopping for a baby that I haven't even applied for!!!

I am currently trying to decide between two agencies. I will probably go with the one that has the best singles program, since that is what I am. What part of Phoenix?

Hi! I am from Mesa and work in the phoenix area,I have been lucky to get a singles slot from GWCA, I'm done with the homestudy and have already my appointment with immigration, only paper i'm missing to complete my dossier is the I171H form,Adoption is truly a leap of faith,
the first agency that I'd applied for informed me about
singles quota,I relocated here because I wanted to be close to the agency that I'd work with, I wanted to adopt from the philippines, but when they told me that the wait was 2 years I got discouraged, when I asked about their china program , no slots til 2007, in november I applied with GWCA , and got lucky and got a slot! I'm hoping to have my baby by june next year!
I'm happy to see that there is more people from the phoenix area! WELCOME!
