question about the longer waits

From what I understand, your fingerprints expire after 15 months, correct?

So if the waits run long and my prints expire, does that mean I have to pay another $70 pp fee to have them redone or do I need to start from scratch with the I-600A and pay for that and the fingerprinting fees and wait on a new I-171?

after the 15 months, you need to pay the $70 each for the re-fingerprinting. After 18months, you need to redo the paperwork part.
