Thumbs up Homestudy Complete!

Our Adoption Practioner just spent the afternoon in our home and we had a lovely visit. She spent almost three hours here and we chatted about so many things relevant to international and domestic adoption. She said that she would e-mail our homestudy to us so that we could make any changes we feel are necessary and I guess from that, we can gather that we will fare well.
I wasn't really nervous about today and I was glad to have not stressed too much about ensuring our home was in "spit shine" shape. I felt more like she was here to help us, not to look for inadequacies and was happy to have had the time with her.
Thank you to everyone who posted about their own experiences as it helped me get through this process with ease.

Great news

Kathlene,

That is great news about the homestudy. Glad it went well. It is a big step to get that meeting out of the way. Good for you!!!

Thanks, Karen and Tina. I feel that I now have a little more to contribute to this forum than I did before and I hope that I can provide some help to others embarking on the homestudy process. I'm so happy to be finished with this part.
