I am bummed - my husband just rcvd. bonus check (finally) and I called agency to make appt. to drop off "completed" dossier (I was so excited) -agency lady said "call back next week (after Wed)" - how rude! (crushed my excitement).

Was wondering if anyone else gave dossier to agency and they sent to get authenticized (this is our agency format) - was wondering what the time line / how long it took from dropping off at agency, getting authenticized, and then DTC / LID?

I keep thinking our agency have no sense of urgency (like we do, naturally) - it is very frustrating! Makes me wonder if they are going to take their time sending to China now?!

Aw, heck ... in all fairness to agency workers, they deal with ALL of us, wanting everything done ASAP and on an emergency basis!

I realize some are worse than others, but wow -- it woudl be SO EASY to burn out on handling other peoples' emergencies, routinely.

Don't get me wrong, though, I know that feeling too, too well! And I do think that people who cannot handle clients more sensitively than your person did, should go get themselves into another line of work!

We sent our dossier to our agency on Wed 11/9, they reviewed it right away and we were DTC on 11/11, and our LID is 11/21 (we found out about our LID on 12/19).

My agency is great! Last Monday, they were waiting for some corrections from the SW. and by Thurs when I called, it was already sent to USCIS. I am very lucky, they are all very quick with everything. After I receive the I171-H, they will take care of the rest(sending it for authentication) and then off to China.
