We are trying for DTC April or May and were wondering if there is anyone else we could get to know that might be traveling the sametime as us.

We are hoping to DTC April/May. Well, actually, we better be because then we have to apply again to the agency because the application approval expires after 6 months. Geez! That isn't too far away. I guess I better hurry up. I've kinda been procrastinating because of the December busy time of the holidays. I SHOULD have done our medical exams in December. Lots of SHOULD HAVES. I digress....yes, so hopefully DTC no later than May.

We are hoping for April or May as well. We have alot of paperwork together already. Our i600A has been submitted and our homestudy appointment(s) should be scheduled soon.

Glad to meet everyone. We have had 2 SW meeting and completed all paper work for them. SENT 1-10-2006 Dr. apt this 23rd. At that time we will send all paper work for dossier to Agency plus pmt. Then we wait on everyone else to get done.

Our agency asked us to send in what we have, they start getting it together while waiting for finial home study and I171 approval.
This is more exciting then waiting for santa claus at christmas!

We are shooting for April - May at the latest. Right now it all depends on immigration. We get our prints done this Saturday. Anyone hear how the Chicago office is running?

We're in the paper chase phase and just met with our home study agency and got passports today.

I was hoping we could be DTC by April or May - but we are just starting the whole process, and it seems like many of you are already way ahead so maybe that is not a realistic time line for us!

It is still very realistic time line for you. It will depend on how you push to get your papers. If you haven't gotten marriage and birth certificates you do want to get on those, some states take a long time. Oh ya and passports.

We are hoping to be DTC by April. We have our home study visits set for Jan. 19th and 22nd. We have been fingerprinted. We are waiting for the doctor to return the paperwork.

I think I will hate when I don't have anything else to do on my end. At first I couldn't wait until my part was finished, but now to think that I won't have any control makes me a tad nervous.

We are hoping for April or May as well (actually, I am hoping for sooner than that, but I am also trying to be realistic!)

We are still waiting for our local fingerprints - we may have to have them done a THIRD time! I am so upset about this, and so is our caseworker.

Then we also have to do the fingerprints for the fbi check, and wait for all that. But otherwise, everything is all done and just waiting. Oh, and our passports should come by the first week of Feb.

We're hoping for April/May also! I've been collecting birth certificates, marriage licences, passport renewals (never got mine changed after marriage). We're sending in our agency fee on 1/19 and then scheduling the homestudy, leaving plenty of time to clean of course!

Dana - I hope you are right, but we haven't done anything yet. I thought we should wait and see what they tell us to do, but maybe I should have started some things earlier.
