DTC in JAN!!!!
Just had to give an update - we will be DTC in January! We are very excited because we were a little hesitant that it would be January because our agency didn't think it would happen that soon with the authenticating. BUT, Someone upstairs is looking our for us! We sent in our first MAJOR payment today so it would be ready to go and now I guess the official waiting game starts! As my husband is so happy to tell everyone - we are PAPER pregnant (emphasis on the PAPER!) That's when I pipe in and say it may be a longer "pregnancy", but we are excited!
Anyone else out there looking to DTC in January? I'd like to find out what you will be doing with your time.... I always thought this would be the time to get the nursery done, but ours is already to go... SO, now what? I hope that you had a very Merry CHRISTmas and wishes for a blessed New Year. I am only focusing on being a mommy for '06 - my New Year's Resolution!!! Happy in WI!! Gretchen

Congratulations, Gretchen! That's great news!
We would probably be DTC in January if we didn't have to wait until dh turns 30 in February. I guess it's meant to happen when it's supposed to happen! Best of luck to you!

Congrats Gretchen to you and your family what a great way to start the New Year. Hope the wait isn't too long! We were also hoping to be DTC in January but it looks like Feb is more realistic. If you get a chance check out the other forums as well as Families with Children from China. There are a lot of fun family filled things that can be done while waiting.

We will be DTC Jan 20, the one year Gotcha Day anniversary of our son from Kaz. Looks like we are on the same timeline! Happy New Year!!

Thanks to all of you for the replies! It is an exciting time. I am not sure when in January it will go, but from the rush of yesterday's activities, I have a feeling it is going to be sooner than later!!! I hope so. It would be nice to have a LID by February!
