There are several yahoo groups. Go to the links section of Raising China Children for a list of yahoo groups by Agency, DTC, province, etc.

Maybe I'm being too negative since I just plain don't like Yahoo groups anyway - but I tried joining both of the ones mentioned above and got rejected. Why in the world do they make you jump through so many hoops just to join a mailing list anyway?
I found others on yahoo that look interesting too, but I don't see the point in bothering to try to join just to get rejected. I think I'll stick to message boards/forums!

Did you respond to their e-mail within the specified timeframe? Sometimes after you do the intial request to join, they will send another e-mail and ask you to briefly describe yourself/family where you are in process, including pre-adoption research, and you have about 5 days to respond. Some are for famlies who have already adopted, but most welcome potential adoptive parents. There are so many wonderful groups out there that offer all kinds of support and info. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them, but that is usually the exception, not the norm. Shelley

I replied within a few minutes of getting the second email.
What's weird though, is that after being rejected by both - within a few more minutes one of them then sent an email saying I was accepted. Maybe Yahoo's semi-automated process isn't working right?

Have tried Fertile Thoughts? They are a Message Board/forum and have an IA board. There are other families from China on there but it is Not China specific.
