Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted in awhile,since I've been pretty busy on getting ready to travel. My husband and I are leaving on Thanksgiving Day. I can't believe it's only alittle over a week away. I'm just so excited,I can't wait to get my hands on her. I was wondering if anyone that already traveled to China might know how much she could weigh? She was 11.2 pounds at 4 months. I would ready appreciate any guesses. Thanks

Congratulations and best wishes on your upcoming travel! When we brought our daughter to the doctor 3 days after coming home, she weighed almost two pounds less then we were told. I think a lot has to do with the fact that we weigh our children naked and in China they are usually fully clothed (maybe with a wet diaper on). She was 10 months and weighed 14 pounds. Take care!

Our daughter weighed 5.5 Kilo at 4 months according to the information. She weighed 4.7 kilo on gotcha day at 8 and a half months. However her paperwork said she was 7.5kilos 7 days before we got her and that she was 66cm. Infact she was 70cm.

So I dont think this will help except to say be prepared for anything.

Our daughter is now 8.2 kilos and has been home for 8 weeks

I don't know what age your baby is, so here are a few of hers. The first 3 are from her initial medical report I got, which was done last year. The 22 month update I just got last week. I have no idea how accurate this is, or if it will help you at all.

6mo - 64cm or 25.1in 6.5k or 14.3lbs
9mo - 66.5cm or 25.9in 7.7k or 16.9lbs
12mo - 68cm or 26.7in 9.08k or 20lbs
22mo - 75.5cm or 29.7in 9.5k or 21lbs
