We have LID!
Hi There! For those of you who were recently DTC I just wanted to give you a heads up. We were DTC on Friday, 10/14 and just got our LID yesterday, 10/31. I wasn't expecting it so soon...our agency said it could take up to 5 weeks so we were pleasantly surprised! Woohoo!! We are very excited! They also said referrals are taking about 7 months. Hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised with an earlier referral but I have a feeling that's probably more realistic. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know!

Congrats! We're still waiting to hear what our LID is. Our DTC was 10/3, so our SW is thinking 10/17 but we still haven't heard for sure yet. Maybe since you got yours, we'll ger ours?!

That's wonderful! I'm LID lat October too, so I'll be crossing my fingers for an early referral right along with you!
I'd heard rumors that the CCAA was switching buildings and hiring more staff, so that last month, this month, and next month will be slow/light on referrals, but that moving forward there will be a (hopefully) shorter wait due to the increase in staff and workspace.
