DTC to LID??
Hi all!
My dossier has arrived in China! Woo Hoo! Now, being the analyst that I am, I am trying to guesstimate my LID!  Anyone with a recent LID, would you mind sharing how long it took from DTC to LID? I am hoping to be LID by my dh's birthday, 9/22  Thanks in advance!

I just received a card from my agency today saying our LID is 8/18. We were DTC 7/22. So a little less than a month.

We were DTC June 27. (Our agency considers DTC the date the dossier arrives at CCAA, not the date it was mailed to China. Some agencies use the mailing date.) Our LID was July 5.
LIDs were coming in pretty quickly for those of us with late June DTC dates. They do not always come that fast.

One of the things that will influence your timeline is if your agency translates your documents stateside or in China. For whatever reason, it does seems like the time between DTC and LID is growing. It use to be consistently around 10 days, though I am hearing more and more often a time frame of about 3-4 weeks.

Our dossier went to China on 6/24 and we have a LID of July 27. I think it depends on the agency.

DTC to LID
Hi!
Our dossier was sent to China by our agency on Friday July 1. We received informaiton from our agency on July 29 that our official LID was July 13. So, 13 days! Laura GWCA

Ours was DTC on April 14, already translated, but was not LID till May 8th. No one knows why. Perhaps it was because it got lost in a stack of papers for a bit, perhaps it was because a lot of others also decided to waitl till April to be DTC-which kept them from traveling in the dreaded October trade fair time. For whatever the "paper" reason, we were logged in for May instead of April....I think we were one month ahead of our daughter..
Regardless, ours was a long 3 weeks before LID.

We were DTC 2/14/05 and LID 2/26/05. We actually sent the Dossier to the agency on Jan 31, but the Chinese New Year slowed us up a bit.
If you want to track this also, we recieved our referral on Sept 3. Ramona
