Hi!

Has anyone heard anything about a timeline for TAs? I called DHL and nothign has left Beijing for the states either yesterday or today so that means next week at the earliest. Why is everything taking so much longer lately? We got our referrals a bit later than previous months and now it looks like TAs are going to be even later and the next round of referrals even later. What is going on? This is SO HARD!!!

Got an email from our agency the other day and it says that they (CCAA) are changed something in the process and stuff is moving a little slow right now. Our agency still expects us to be travelling in the first part of Sept.

In one place I heard that CCAA had problems with the printer that they use to print the TA's, and that is what is causing the delay. Bad time for technical difficulties...

What my agency has told me is that they have recieved some TA's, but not all. They are not releasing TA information though for our travel group until all of us in the group recieve approval. I have heard from others at the same agency they have their TA, but they were not in my travel group. I got an apologetic e-mail yesterday with an upbeat hope that TA's will be arriving next week. I am getting "ansy" I have to admit as I want to get Lydia out of the SWI. It drives me crazy thinking of her there. I've seen pictures of where she is...and it's clean and I know she is being taken care of...but it's just not a home.

Lissa - I can totally relate to where you are coming from. Once I saw our Emily's picture, I couldn't wait to get her home. She's been here almost four weeks now and I can't imagine life before she came. It has been awesome. I hope you get your TA soon. I'll be thinking of you - keep us posted!

Got email from our agency today. The TA's for our group should arrive on Wednesday. They are telling us to plan on leaving sometime between the 8th and 15th.

That's wonderful Jason! We received our referral on August 3rd, sent our letter of acceptance on August 4th and learned on August 14th we would be travelling to China October 7-20th. Such a loooooong wait!! Hang in there everyone!

How can you know when you will be traveling if you haven't received your TA yet? is that just when they hope you'll travel by? Shelley

I received my TA last Monday and am leaving September 11th. I think it depends on each agency??? I don't know how we got so lucky but we get our daughter September 15th. My friend hasn't gotten her TA yet and she got her referral the day before I did on July 28th. I don't think it makes any sense. Her agency told her to still plan on traveling mid-September. Maybe we just got more notice.

Well, they narrowed everything down for us. We will be leaving either the 10th, 11th ro 12th. We'll know for sure on Tuesday. I'm starting to get nervous.
