Our agency offers a courier service to have all our certifed dossier docs authenticated at the WA Consulate Office all at once.
The fee is $130 to the courier, $26 per doc, and $25 handling fee. They say for most couples, the cost is approx $493 total. Has anyone used this service? I'm thinking it would be so much easier to do this rather than keep track of multiple documents coming and going from different consulate offices. Any opinions? Donna ![]() |

I used assissantstork.com to authenticate all my docs at once in DC. I don't remember what I paid, but I don't think it was as much as you posted. I would go to her site and check the prices. If you can't bring up her site, PM me and I will send you her e-mail.

Our agency is smaller, and they only send out dossiers once a month. For us, a courier would only have been practical if we needed to rush our documents to make the DTC date. With the timing of our I-171H, we were able to do things the regular way (the agency sends everything to the consulates) and still make our DTC date. That way, we didn't have to pay the extra fees. All of this to say that it really depends on your specific situation.

We live in Pennsylvania and used a courier recommended by our agency. The courier, lives near the state capital. We sent the paperwork to her by Fedex and she took it to the state capitol and had it certified and and sent it back by Fedex the same day. Certification was $15 per document x 10 set by the state, the courier service $40 and the Fedex was $24 ea way. Total cost $238. The total time paperwork was out of our hands was 48 hours. To me it was well worth the price. You have so much time invested in the paperwork, I hate having the paperwork of our hands. We will DTC the end on Sept finally!!!
