Hi! My name is Leslie and my husband and I are supposed to be in the next batch to get a referral. Our LID is 12/29. Our adoption agency told us they talked with their liason in China and the referrals have been sent and should be arriving to the different agencies by the end of the week. Our agent said we should get our picture of baby Mira next week! I am almost going out of my mind waiting. I am so excited! Is there anyone out there patiently waiting???? We cannot wait to get on that plane to go meet our daughter. I feel like I have been waiting forever and now it is almost over. I keep thinking that I have been waiting for her and she has been waiting for me. Is that crazy? As soon as I get her picture, I will post it.

I have been monitorring a few forums and it looks like a lot of agencies are saying the same thing. The cut-off date has been reported as 1/26 and all are expecting to recieve the referrals next week.

Hi Leslie,
We too should be in the batch of referrals and I am about going nuts!!!.
Our agency hasn't even comfirmd we are in the matching room yet. There has been alot of different talk about when referrals will be sent.
Who is your agency and when did they tell you that referrals was sent. I have thought along that the agencies would get the referrals on Friday and make phone calls on Monday. Maybe I was right. I hope

We are also "patiently" waiting for our referral. In reality we are on pins and needles! I can't hardly function. We have an LID of 1/6 so we know that we are in this batch as well. I sure hope your agency is right and that they have been sent. That isn't what we have been hearing from ours ~ which is nothing actually. Today they have kind of been hinting that the matching process may be "beginning". I am so confused I don't know what to think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sure hope THEY are wrong and your agency is right. Keep us posted ~ what agency are you with?

My agent called me late this evening and the liason in China said it would be next week instead of this week. I am with you - I am consumed with this adoption. I can't wait to see my baby! We went with Catholic Social Services in North Carolina. The agency is very small. We get a lot of personal attention, which is good because I don't feel we have been left in the dark as some others have been. You just have to believe our wait is almost over.

We are LID 26.01 and are really hoping to be in this group...anyone else the same.....

Our LID is Dec. 29/04. Our SW emailed us last night to say she spoke with the CCAA liaison yesterday and confirmed that "....CCAA is just starting to match files...." However, she's been saying this to us for the last two months. We are so anxious to meet our little girl and see her face. I feel we know her in our hearts, but just need a sweet little face to go with the overwhelming emotions of love and joy we feel for her!

I'm guessing we won't be traveling to China until September? Is anyone else in the same boat as us?

Our agency's website is stating the cut off was 1/27. So I guess we will all see soon. We are lid 2/23/05 and hoping for the cut off to be a late January. This will hopefully insure us into the next batch. Keeping our fingers crossed for all of you waiting and hoping to join your excitement next month.

Please post pictures of your referrals so we can all see the beautiful babies. We are now living through your referral until ours comes in.
