We Got Our Referral!!!!!!!
I can't believe those words are coming from me!! Our little girl's name is Zhan Wen Lan. She is 7.5 months old and is currently in Guangdong. We've only seen a faxed picture but she is gorgeous. She weighs 13.45 lbs and is 24 inches long. Can't wait to have her in my arms.
 FYI - our LID was 11/5/04. Our agency received referrals for LID's 10/19-11/19/04. Mary

Are you walking around with a grin on your face? I could picture myself doing that. Smile all day long so that every stranger would think I was a complete basketcase.I hope you get to meet your daugher very soon!  Oh.. and if you don't mind... Where were you whne you got the call/message?

Funny you should ask. It was not the "romantic" moment that I had envisioned (but wonderful just the same). The phone rang (it was my friend). She was somewhere that was so noisy I could barely hear her. At that moment, the doorbell rang. As I was trying to tell my friend I had to get the door, call waiting clicked in. I knew from the caller I.D. it was my agency. I quick took the other call, person still at my door and my two children started fighting. Plain and simple, all "heck" was breaking loose. In the end, I got the happy news with bedlam going on around me. It was awesome. Did I mention dh was in the air flying home from a one-day business trip so I couldn't tell him until a few hours later. We are all very happy and can't wait to get our little girl home.

For some reason I can only use quick reply in case a moderator sees this post...I know the forums were down all night last night too! That's always poopy as I'm mildly addicted. :-)
Anyway on to important stuff! Congratulations Mary!! How awesome. Your baby sound healthy. Kim, how frustrating to have to wait. I'm really sorry. I hope it's easier knowing it is coming though. Bless you both.

Hi Kim - I know you're thinking Friday but I hope sooner. This wait is sooooo frustrating but when you get that call, it becomes mute. I guess kind of like what people say about labor
 . I'll be keeping good thoughts for you and please post as soon as you hear anything. My fingers and toes are crossed for you!! Mary Also, thanks to all of you for your good wishes. Can't wait to hear everyone elses referral news in the coming months!!!
