Mental Illness and adoption
I've had Obsessive Compulsive since I was seven and while on medication I no longer have to even to visit a psychirist, having been stable for years a regular MD writes the prescription.
My question: will this halt me from a single mom adoption from China? Emily

I'm OCD too. I take medication, but only go for check-uos to make sure it is still doing its job. We were honest with our agency, and they didn't have a problem with it. I did have to get my doctor to write a letter stating that I am stable and would be a good mother.
I hope this helps. We hope to be DTC next month- hopefully China won't have a problem either (we have been assured everything will be fine). Mary

I have very slight OCD tendencies. LOL DH thinks that's a blessing with the paperchase.
