male adoptee dob 12/19/1965 CHSCA in LA
We are getting teeny steps closer. My husband was born in Oakland, CA, but we just found out he was adopted out of LA, CA through Children's Home Society of CA. He is getting more anxious about finding more. We too have run into the fee thing ($100 for non id info). We had the same ?. We may just pay it and see what comes of it. My husband was adopted by the Bower's family of Sonoma county, maiden name Hooper. We do have some last names... birthnames Walden and Bowlin.
