CHS of NJ
I am slowly beginning a search. While I know that I "need to know" to complete who I am, I only want the reunion to happen if there is mutual consent. I don't want to search for someone who doesn't want to be found. It is my right to know, but I feel strongly about not forcing the issue on anyone. At least that is how I feel now.
I am in search of any biological kin. My birthdate is 4/9/78; birthplace is New Jersey. |

How has your search gone? I was also adopted in NJ, Trenton, NJ and I believe from the CHS there...birthdate was 4/12/69
Just curious how your search has gone...I've thought about it on/off forever but have never mounted a search...would like to though |

I've worked with CHS for a few years. You can actually use them to contact your birthmom/dad, whoever it is you're looking for.
Although, the only catch is that you have to pay some money but they'll let you know whether they want to be found. I also was told that you could write a letter of some sort? Contact them about it. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful! I'm about to use them to search soon...although it's about $500 to search for the bmom/bdad, I think in the end it'll be worth it. <3 good luck! =) ![]() |
