How does your child view

his/her disability, as opposed to how everyone else views it.

For my kids, they don't know that their different than anyone else. And doesn't comprehend what a disability is.

Others see my kids as "those poor babies", we get alot of pity, in my opinion. Which we don't want.

My kids don't know any other way of life, and each have their own normal..does this make sense?

How about your kids?

My son sometimes feels a little sorry for himself, but most of the time does not. he actually draws pictures of himself with two arms and two legs. My daughter too. They hate when people treat them like a baby. My son though is torn, he has admitted to me that he kind of likes being babied and being the small one, it's part of his eating disorder issue. He has a love/hate relationship with his size.
