...give me a big hug when I really needed it, even though I never said what was going on.

I agree with Crick that there have been many. One thing that stand out in mind is when my oldest ds was born. We had been driving to the town he was born in each day and visiting and then back in.
Our house was a mess, our ac broke (seems to happen a lot in my home). We had one guy from church come and replace our ac unit for us and wouldn't let us pay him...he did finally let us pay for the unit, but not him for labor. A close friend came and cleaned my house and stocked our refrigerator. She even remembered my Mom loves caffeine free diet coke, so she stocked up on that. Then a lot of friends from church came and decorated our house and left tons of gifts on the day we were bringing him home. They also gave me a shower 2 weeks later. They brought food over for 2 weeks. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea! ![]()

beat me to the hospital when I called her and told her I was on my way to the hospital as dh had just been airlifted there in a near fatal emergency. It was so good to have her strong shoulder's supporting me in what was one of the scariest times of my life.
