National Adoption Day Ceremony in Summerville
I received this information from the agency doing our home study so I thought I would forward it on.
National Adoption Day is Saturday, November 15, 2008. A special candle lighting ceremony will take place to honor adoptive parents, birth parents and adoptees. Anyone touched by adoption is invited to join us at Azalea Park in Summerville at 5:00 p.m. Live music, poems and personal stories will be shared by participants and organizers. The event will end with a candle lighting ceremony to honor all adoptive families. The children will each receive a special memento to remember National Adoption Day.
