Both my brother and I were adopted through Catholic Charities of Salem, MA. I found my biological family in 1998, without the help of Catholic Charities.
My brother will be 40 on July 10. His birthdate, July 10, 1966. He was born in Gloucester, MA. All my parents were told is that he is Italian. Catholic Charities is now located in Lynn, MA and they have not provided us with any information. My brother was asked to send in money to receive non-identifying information 2 years ago when he requested it. If anyone can offer us assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. My email is traom_mootson@hotmail.com |

Did he receive his non-id? If he did, whatever Catholic Charities office he worked with then should be able to assist him with some sort of search.

Not necessarily, some CC offices have intermediaries now, but not all. Almost all charge dollars for non-id. If your brother hasn't contacted them in the past two years, he should because things can change.
