Relinguished Registry/Catholic Adoptions
Yes i still live in Massachusettes. I have talked to Vital Statistics here who said they have no record of my birth in this state. Catholic Charities in Boston is of no help to me at all i have been talking with them for the last 6 months and they can't help me at all. My adoptive parents are still around but they say they don't have any information.

What city and state were you born in. I am looking for my daughter but do not remember the day. Only the month and year. Oct. 1977 I gave birth in Toledo, Ohio at St Vincent. hospital
I was 20 years old. Unmarried

i was told massachusettes but found out through the vital statistics that there is no record of my birth in this state so honestly i have no idea where i was born just that i was born in December of 1975

boy each CC must be different. I was given non-idenifying info free and then paid 250 for the search which was successful. At no point have they asked for anymore money and they are still being a thrid party for me with one of my siblings. CC isn't suppose to charging anything for non-identifying info. If there is anything on your files they are suppose to give it to you but the will be careful not to release to much info.

Your comment about CC not supposed to charge for non id info..well I paid 50 bucks for the non id info and 200 for a full search..total 250. Interesting!

Who do you contact? I have tried CC in NY where the adoption took place and they haven't been any help. Is there a "main" office? Just curious. My daughter will not be 18 until March, so I have pretty much put it on hold, but any info would be greatly appreciated.
