Anyone volunteer with Catholic Charities
to try to get more information? I live in a different county than I was adopted in but the same diocese. Just wondering

It shouldn't matter that you've moved to another county. Even if you weren't living in the same diocese, you could still contact them. Try contacting the main Catholic Charities office in your diocese and ask to speak with someone who will handle adult post adoption matters. And keep asking questions until you get satisfactory answers.
