I registered on adoption.com and, would you believe it, after I registered I searched on my bdate and found a posting that matches my birth name, date, and birthplace.

There was an option to send an email, so I did, but now I don't know where I sent my email.

Also, the registry that I responded to had little info, just a state, birthdate, and in the "other column" it had birthmother name, doctor's name, hospital name, and child's name.

Perhaps the person that posted it was my birthmother, or a family member, I don't know. I didn't know my birthmother's first name, just a guess that my last name was hers. I don't even know when this person originally posted.

Does anyone know how that registry works?

Will the person behind that posting get my email?

If you know anything about this, would you share?

Hi,

Yes, if there was an option to send an email, then it went to the person who posted the info. Also, if you go back and look at the listing, it should tell you the date that the listing was added and/or updated on Registry.adoption.com.

Funny that you mentioned that because that is the website where I found my bio mother 4 years ago!Now I am searching for my other sister nad a brother both of whom I never knew about until I met my bio mother. If it is correct info dont give up keep going! best of Luck
