My niece is a hoot, she's 2.5. I thought I'd share some of her funnies from this past Sunday.

She was getting ready for church and I was on the phone. I asked her what she was doing and she said "putting on my makeup" I said "oh your so pretty you don't need makeup" and she responded with "No, I need my colors!"

When they got in the car to head of to church (niece, her mom and dad, my mom and dad and younger sis) my mom noticed my nieces pockets were full. My mom asked about it and my niece said she had "monies for church". She took a handful of coins from the change jar in my parent's closet...it's junk box of change and she wanted to give to the church collection

When the collection baskets were being brought out my niece struggled to get her coins and my mom helped her while giving her a dollar to add to the basket. My niece looked around the church for "something" and then to my mom and said "mom mom, you tapped mac??"

During the same Mass my niece suddenly got excited and quietly tugged on my sisters shirt "mommy mommy he said Halloween, he said Halloweeeeen". She heard Halloween.... he said Homily

Ahhh, very cute!

I love the heisting of the coins for the collection! My son does the same thing. We have a jar at the front and when it is time, he takes off running before I can had him any money. Then I see him unloading his pockets into the jar.
