Well...it's official...we are officially a family
We went to court yesterday for the finalization (finally!!!) of Isabella's adoption. We waited over an hour for the judge....and there was 4 other families there too. Luckily we were first on the docket. We were called in...the attorney asked us 5 questions and then the judge said "Adoption of Isabella Rose DiSorco is granted" and it was done and over in 5 minutes!!! We are so over the moon happy even though we have always known that from day one of Isabella being home with us that she was ours!
At least the priest will be happy that we finalized....Isabella's baptism is on Sunday!

That's awesome - congratulations!!!!! We are hoping our Isabella's finalization will happen in about a month just as smoothly.

Yes, that is the MOST gorgeous name! Sounds like a princess.....
Congratulations! I remember thinking after the long wait and process, then waiting for the finalization date , how anti-climactic the actual finalization was! Less than 10 minutes in the chambers, and the final pieces of paper were signed, and we could go home and get on with the rest of our life!!!!
