News Tuesday Topic, What's your take......

We are having a heat wave here. What is the hottest place you have ever been?

For me it was South Africa. It hit 118 while we were there.

For me it was once in Pendleton, Oregon... it hit 109. I was there for a week and got several spontaneous nose bleeds throughout the week.

LMAO - probably my home state of Kansas (yes it gets REALLY hot there) or where I'm at now (Texas). It can get REALLY hot here too...

Or Arizona one summer....it was scorching there too.

I remember it hitting 110 when we were in Utah (don't let the winter snow fool you, it's a desert!)

BUT... I swear it gets hotter in SC with the humidity. We had 98-99 degree temps a couple of weeks ago but with the humidity, the heat index was 115. I have never felt worse.

Well, the hottest temperature place I have been was Phoenix, AZ one July when it was still 118 at midnight ( we were in the swimming pool at the hotel most of the night - it was HOT).

However, the hottest I have felt was in Antigua, Guatemala in I believe the month of April. It was sooo humid that the 90 degrees temp felt like 190!!!!

Hmmm. Wonder if I was in Vegas that same September? I remember thinking - WOW - is it really that hot? It's a TOTALLY different temp when you aren't blanketed in 200% humidity. THis past Saturday's 80 degrees felt like 95, because it was so humid.........
