We've actually been in Haiti with our son! I jsut posted a long message about it on the Haitian Angels group and I was going to repost it here, but I mention agencies and talk about the orphanage in depth, so I didn't want to risk getting in touble over here.

We went to file our I600 (a little early)-- we are just out of Parquet. But this is the last week that my dr. would let me travel because of the pregnancy, and miracle of all miracles, we were granted permission to visit! I can't believe it still. A new organization has taken over our orphanage and we've seen a lot of changes in how things are done.

How are you guys doing? Any word from China yet? How's Lily's tummy?

I think our son might have some sort of parasite or something. He had terrible diarrhea the whole time we were there. They say it's "teething" but he has all his teeth, so that's not it. He's also very tiny. And while his orphanage is fantastic, I can see that he is not going to truly thrive until he's at home.

Anyway, give us an update on you guys!!!

Thats so great that you got to finally meet Nicco. I actually read your post on HA but did not put 2 and 2 together. You are quite the trouper, going to haiti 7 months PG. I am in awe of that.
How long do they think until Nicco can come home. I know all about the not thriving until they are home.
Lilly is doing great. We had her evaluated yesterday by early intervention. She is at a 12 month level for everything except Gross motor (she doesn't walk yet) But she really is doing great. For self help she is at 14 months! She will be 17 months n April 2, so not too far behind. She did qualify for services so we are getting some help. They think, as do we, that she will be walking in the next month or 2.
We have heard nothing from her tests so I am assuming she is fine. The DR said he would call if we needed to come in and nothing. I will probably call him on monday though.
