Anyone adopted a Bahamian child?
Our daughter (now 4 months old) Bahamian and I was wondering if anyone else adopted from there? I know most of the adoptions from the Carribean are from Haiti............
Just wanted to see if there are others out there like us....

I haven't adopted from the Bahamas but I would love to know more info about the process....

Greetings!
My husband (Bahamian) and I (American) are just beginning to weigh our options for having our first child. If we choose to adopt, we would love to adopt a Bahamian child, but it seems there are few resourses available specific to adopting a child from the Bahamas. Please share your experience.. we'd love to hear from you! Do you have a connection to the Bahamas other than through your child? We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have for us also! Thanks!
