Hi,
I'm new to this part of the forums, but not to the forums themselves. We are doing double duty, adopting from Guatemala and Haiti at the same time. We are so anxious to get our little Marcus home from Haiti and yet we know we're in for a wait. We're still in first legal as far as I know and waiting to enter IBESR. I recognize some of you from the HA group...nice to be HERE too!

Hey everyone!
How are things proceeding with your adoptions...

Heidi-- have you heard any news of your expedited trip through IBESR? How's your daughter's health?

We are still in IBESR (4 months next week.) This part of the wait REALLY stinks because you have no idea how long it will be!

Next week we also hit the one year mark in our adoption. Come home soon Nico! Mama's getting impatient!

Hope to hear an update soon!

-Gwenn

Hi sorry I havn't been on lately. I was sick with a sinus infection and bronchitis and I feel like I lost about 2 weeks.
Lilly is back in the Hospital as of today. I am really frustrated. She needs so badly to come home. We wrote a letter to the US and the IBESR office today. It stated that we will except her and her medical conditions and that we have care lied up for her immediatly upon getting her home. We also asked for them to hurry this process up. We got our 171 approval back in 10 days after begging them. So maybe the letter will work. Our agency requested it and wanted it overnight. Hopefully we will know more by monday. My DH and I are considering going down there soon. Just to be with her if nothing else.
Heidi

Heidi,
I hope they can find what is making Lilly so sick. And I pray the Mr. Cadet has compassion and moves her case through quickly.

We have just started the very long wait. We entered IBESR on September 8, one day after Jack's 2nd birthday! Talk about a great b-day gift!

Congrats on being out of PGN!!!! Yay for you!

Hopefully Emilee will be home forever soon, you guys and get comfy before little Jack gets home...

We're still in IBESR (since May 31)... waiting (not so patiently) for little Nico and also just learned we are pregnant! So we'll have two new ones at home soon too!

Oh my!! Congratulations on being PG. I worry about that now that I am in between the menopause medicine and getting my hysterectomy. Not that it could really happen, but I still worry.

Oh my gosh, congrats on being PG....how exciting! That'll be so fun.

Heidi - I'm so happy to hear they are expediting Lilly through IBESR. I hear good things about the new director, hopefully she'll start moving things through a lot faster than they were. I'm so anxious to get back to Haiti - if I go soon I definently want to stop by and meet this woman.

Hope everyone is doing well!

S.

~CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy!! Your life will never be dull.

~Heidi, I hope Madame B. will be able to expedite Lilly through very quickly now. I have heard good coming through about her, but I think everyone is holding their breaths.

~We are VERY excited that Emilee is coming home!! And we can't wait until Jack comes behind her!
