Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to pop by and invite those who might be interested to visit a website created by a former Children's Aid Worker. The website is geared towards those who are involved with or who have been affected in any way by the system. The board is a really informative one, which features an "ask the ex worker" section. This is a well moderated, and very respectful forum where you might find answers to questions, or support for issues you or someone you know might be facing. Personal attacks and flaming messages are NOT tolerated. This is NOT the place to bash CAS, its staff, volunteers or foster parents. This is NOT the place to bash anyone really! Its more about discussing all CAS related issues, and working towards an understanding of what parents encounter when CAS becomes involved, and how workers are mandated to do certain things in the name of "child welfare". Its a place to discuss what does and doesn't work within the system, and to discuss what changes might make the system more effective.
