I thought I'd start a thread where we could talk about all of our events for the month of November. Is your agency putting something on? Or do you know of an event?

Here in Lethbridge we have an adoption conference. This year it's going to be a little different as we are only having 1 speaker. She is a mother of 14 (I think that was the number) 2 bio and 12 adopted. She is speaking of many aspects of being a parent-adoptiveparent.

I'm not sure of the dates off hand, but I can/will certainly find out.

As I indicated in the other thread, a private agency in Calgary is putting on a conference called Touched By Adoption. As I work at the agency, I do know that the spaces for children are almost full, however our room for adoptive, birth or prospective adoptive parents is basically unlimited. There is a small cost for adoptive parents to attend. If you are interested, send me a Private Message or an email and I can tell you more.

It says it is open to waiting clients, placed clients and prospective clients.
