Touched By Adoption - Nov 4, 2006 - Calgary, AB
There is a morning conference in Calgary, Alberta on November 4, 2006 being hosted by one of the private agencies (the one I work for), however it is open to ALL adoptive parents (before or after placement) and birth parents. I will post more information if people are interested, or you can email me if you want to know more carriemnewman@yahoo.com. I am very excited to be there!

I was a bit concerned that people might see it as "Advertising" for the agency, but I thought people might be interested in attending since it is open to everyone. That is also why I did not put the name of the agency in the post. Do you think it was okay?

Definitely ok!! I think it's great to know what's going on in our limitted adoption world.
But you are right, you don't want to violate the agency discussion guidelines. People can pm you for the name. Thanks again for posting!
