I just filled out the paperwork today for the "stay at home subsidy" that our AB gov't offers.

Basically, it will cover Ds' tuition for preschool, or approved activities...up to 100/month

I'm SO excited!! I registered him for swimming and gymnastics today!! I'm really excited about the gymnastics cuz it's at the fancy-schmancy gymnastics club, which we could not have afforded without this subsidy!! And it's SOOOO much more kid friendly than the other gyms.

WOOHOO!!

Wow Leigh...that's awesome. That will come in totally handy when I try and plead my stay at home case when we have kids.

ohh use whatever ammo you have!! If it's important to you at all, do what you can to stay home!!

It is, but I also realize Chad's concern about money. What I'd like to do is stay casual and just work a few days a week, but I do not want my baby to go to daycare. So...we'll see.

That's one HUGE advantage to your job, you do have some flexibility available to you.

that first year of mat/parental is sucha huge help....
