Hey Cherry, yes I would love to check out the other adoption site-- Did you adopt through CAS or some other way? Its nice to talk with people who adopted and sometimes if they live close enough they can even provide info and resources for us. Talk to you soon.

Jody - we adopted through the equivalent of CAS here in BC. Our little ones were 17 months (son) and 8 months (daughter) when we brought them home. (now 4 1/2 and 1 1/2) They are the sweetest most adorable kids around. It was a very positive experience for us. It happened pretty quick too - about 20 months from the time we submitted our initial application (then classes, homestudy - which took long) to placement, the second time only 3 months (we only had to update our HS). phills ~ we're a waiting foster-to-adopt family in Alberta also. We're also waiting with a private agency. Nice to see others from Canada here. I didn't know there was actually a Canadian "spot"!
