I'm from the Swift Current area and I'm not exactly sure of her birth date ( Feb.28/85 or 86 ). Her name was Shelby Dawn Thompson, and was born early in Regina or Saskatoon. Her Mother was Dawn Thompson and she kept some contact with the adoptive parents. Her adoptive father was in the Air Force and sent over seas when she was quite young. Wishing any info about Shelby please.

it's probably a really wierd coincidence, but your post, is so close to my birth date.. with in a day, and two years... and right place... they might be related.. might not...

Aside from the closeness of the birthdate and Regina, are there other similarities? Did your birthmom keep in contact with your parents? Was your dad in the Air Force?

no he wasn't .. i was a closed adoption.. no contact.. but i was in foster care for 2 months.. for all i know my foster dad was.. i know nothing of them.. (shrugs) the guy isn't sure of her birthdate... what else could he be misinformed on

just wanted you to know that it was him.. i have made contact... i did so after recieving a letter from my birth mom... that confirmed her name.. and such.. and took a chance and called just 1 hour ago now.. it was him.. he was just misinformed.. he thought i was in the states or something.. far away.. and it turns out i was only 3 hours away the past twenty years.. but i never would have known about him.. or where to look if not for this site.. so thank you..
