HI,

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN GET A COPY OF MY ADOPTION ORDER OR STATEMENT OF LIVE BIRTH. I'M FROM MONTREAL QUEBEC AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ADOPTION LAWS HERE ARE. COULD SOMEONE HELP ME OUT AS TO WHERE I WOULD APPLY FOR THESE PAPERS.

In Quebec you will recieve non identifying information
This application is free the wait time is approx 3 to 4 months. Though I have heard of it being up to four years!!
What you will recieve is called a Certificate of Judgement...which is basically your adoption order.. no birthnames ect.
