Hello!!!

My Husband and I are looking at several different countries for adoption (especially china and vietnam) and are going to EVERY thread to get information about the countries. I know cambodia is closed but I have some questions for all of you.

1. When is Cambodia suppose to open back up?
2. How much should we expect to pay in total (general answer.. How much did you pay?)
3. How young are the children in Cambodia when you receive the referrel and how long until you travel to pick them up?
4. What is the ratio Boys vs. Girls?
5. General health problems with the children?
6. How long does the process take for cambodia?
7. What are the age limits?
8. We have a biological daughter (will be 17 when we get our child) and they will be sharing a room, is this ok?

Froggy- I wish I could tell you when Cambodia will re-Open, sadly it doesn't look like any time soon.

I can tell you about my experience only:

We adopted from Cambodia on June 1,2001. Our daughter was 5 1/2 months old, turned 4 months old the day after we received her referral.

The total costs were about $15k.

We started our dossier in Nov( 1st HS), sent our dossier in March.
