San Bernardino County Adoption... ??
My daughter's bio father has consented to a step parent adoption. He -gasp- actually ASKED if my husband could adopt her. Hubby and I are excited because it's what we have been praying for. We are wondering what the law was in SB County about the marriage of he and I. In SB County, do we have to be married at least a year first? I have not found anything on the county website that says so. It only says we have to be married and living together as a family. My husband tried calling to find out but they would not give him any info over the phone. Does anyone know for sure what the law is here?
Thank you! |
