I have been approved since Feb 28, 2007 as a fost-adopt home. We would like to adopt siblings one girl and her brother/sister under the age of 5.
I would love to have communication with others trying to adopt here in California. We are going through an agency that can allow us to adopt in the state.

Hello and good morning.

I am also interested in foster-adoption. I am working with DHS in my county here in CA. I am interested in the folllowing age group 4-10f. I was approved to foster on January 30, 2007. I am working on my adoption homestudy right now. Iam 31 years old I have one bio child who will be turning 13teen in June. I have been in the process for about 2 years. I was working with a non-profit and decided to work with DHS. So far so good, I am still waiting to be matched..It has been a long wait...how has this proces been for you?

I have been homestudy approved since Feb 28, 2007. I have one bio daughter who is four. We are anxiously awaiting. I am going through a private agency that contracts through the State Counties. We are praying for sibs that are under 5. ( 2 -3 girl/boy)
Been reading and reading everything I can get my hands on regarding adoption.

I just wanted to give an update. I spoke with the adoption worker I am 8 homestudies away before mine gets done, the goal is for it to be completed on or before June 30th. Will keep you posted as soon as I get more info.
