We here ya go dont go on a vacation this year that save you at least 1000.00 ( use your visit trip as a vacation).. you are already paying for a home study for domestic adoption/foster care thats another 1500-2000.00..Then you have another vacation for around 1000.00(your pick up trip can be your next year vacation)and you get a loan for the rest which is aroung 6000.00.. For peace of mind no birth mom wanting there kids back and the child you pick yourself throuigh pictures and medicals. Its alot of paper work very little classes maybe 3 hours...and your done in...

Much less expensive, for sure. But I also wonder how much choice there is. I'd love to hear from others who have foster/adopted. How many children did you have to choose from? How long did it take, etc?

We are all hopeful and pray to have our wait as short as possible. Hang in there.
