I do believe placement is quicker the more open you are to age, health, and race.

Do not give up hope, though. Keep in contact with the SB County, bother them, if you will, and perhaps you might consider placing your homestudy with surrounding counties that might have a larger number of children available. Good luck, and Merry Christmas

We submited all of our papers and then some to CPS and the Foster folks in Rancho and they not appear to be taking thier sweet time, but have told us to be patient with thier process. Patience for a teen and a willing family are hard things to maintain, especially when the CPS work doesn't talk to the child or the Adoption advocate can't make contact with the PRIDE coachs. Could someone please explain what they went through with teh SB CPS folks. Thank You Greg g_doble@yahoo.com

We just finidhed with licensing to. Our homestudy will be finished next week. So far 2 couples in our pride calss alsready received matching calls. One was for a 3 week old hispanic girl and the other child was for a hearing impeared child. These couples were not even licensed yet. So this is great news. We are looking for a boy/girl 0-6 caucasion or biracial. They do not feel it will be long before they find a match for us. So we will see.
