foster adopt program

The children in the fost-adopt program are ones whose parental rights are in the process of being terminated; the county has already searched for the parents and they can't be found, etc. THEN they are placed in the fost-adopt program. Have you checked with your county for a program like this? Good luck!

Jackie We started out taking adoptions classes with LA County, and then started our foster certification with a foster agency called "Penny Lane", which has four or five local units in LA County. They do foster placements and fost-adopt, which is where we will be quite soon (they said home study should be finished and us certified by mid-January).
