Regarding Children Attorney
Is it normal for the children attorney to side with the bio -family. my foster/adopt son has two other brothers
they all have different daddy that can't be found. The aunt on the older brother side wants to take all three children. This aunt doesn't even know my foster/adopt son nor trying to build a relationship with him. Will the court allow her to get all three kids? |

They could. My FD went to live with her half-brother's paternal aunt. My FD was this woman's nephew second half-sibling she was caring for. All three kids had different fathers. If the kids can't be with their bio parents, then if the siblings can be together that's the next best thing. If she does get custody, then transitional visits could start. I think more weight is added if the siblings used to live together in the birth home. |
