Budget and AAP
Does anyone know if our AAP checks are affected due to the budget? I really do not want an IOU.

That's a great question! I was supposed to get my first one yesterday and there was nothing, not even an IOU. I'm hoping today's mail brings something, even if it's just news about what to expect.

AAP is from a dif budget than foster stipend. Yes, it can be adjust4ed later or based on income if need be. However, in my county, there is no talk of that yet. In a converation with a SW I was reminded that the monies come from county and fed, too, so it's not all state dependent. Further, when cutting social welfare programs, the SW said that programs for children will most likely stay in place whereas programs for adults -- welfare, psych care, etc. will probably be targered before children-oriented programs.
